MOMBASA GOVERNOR ALI HASSAN JOHO'S WIFE FILES A DIVORCE.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s first wife Madina Giovanni Fazzini has filed for divorce at the Chief Kadhi’s court after nine years of separation.
In
her affidavit, Madina wants the Kadhi’s court to dissolve the marriage, mentioning
they parted with the county boss in 2013.
"I
am clear that our marriage has broken down irretrievably with no chance of
revival and we have both moved on over the years," she told the court.
The
county’s first family started when they got married on February 2011, so far
they have two children.
According
to Madina, the county chief moved out of their home in 2013 leaving her with
the burden of taking care of the children.
From
her point of view, his absence from their matrimonial home, the substance of
their union has dissolved and there is no reason to remain together both
legally and socially.
Madina
acknowledges through swearing that she left her marital home in 2020 and
started living on her own. Fazzini holds there is no hope or possibility
of reconciliation or compromise of whatsoever nature or kind between herself
and Joho.
She
also attached a marriage certificate and birth certificates of the two children
she bore with Joho.
Madina prays that the marriage is melted and pursues any other or further relief the court may consider fit to grant.
Madina is a daughter to an Italian father and Somali mother.
